Melbourne, we're coming at you!. The world premiere, the first ever public screening of the upcoming feature documentary about the life of trailblazing female rocker and artist, Suzi Quatro, has just been announced.
Anyone remotely familiar with the vibrant city of Melbourne, Australia, knows that this city cannot go one day without an event, festival or occasion to celebrate the wonderful multi-cultural metropolis that it is. MIFF (Melbourne International Film Festival) is one of them.
Founded in 1952, MIFF is a not-for-profit continuously run film festival and event whose mission it is to bring the story of the world through curated and unforgettable screen experiences. We are privileged enough to bring to audiences the life story of Suzi Quatro, a true worldly figure who completely shook the music world back in the 1970's with her string of chat-topping hits, multi-million record sales and unforgettable energy during performances.
Literally thousands of filmmakers both from Australia and across the world submit their works of art (film) to MIFF every year in the hopes of being officially selected, let alone to walk away with an award.
We are incredibly humbled and proud to announce that the official World Premiere of SUZI Q will be held at MIFF across two separate nights:
Thursday August 15th (The Capitol Theatre, 113 Swanston St, Melbourne)
Saturday August 17th (Sofitel Melbourne on Collins Auditorium, 25 Collins St, Melbourne)
Don't miss out on your exclusive opportunity to be among the first in the world to see this exciting new feature documentary (with an opportunity to chat with the director and producers afterwards over a drink or two!).
