Taking on the lead role of David is JORDAN FRASER-TRUMBLE.

Jordan works across film, television, and theatre. His feature film and television credits include The Legend of Ben Hall, West of Sunshine, Boundless, The Green Door, The Family (BBC), Lawless - The Real Bushrangers (Foxtel), and Underbelly - Squizzy. His theatre credits include starring roles in the hit Melbourne Theatre Company production of Gloria, HIR at Red Stitch Actors Theatre Company, and Archimedes War at Darebin Arts. Jordan was awarded the Graduate Position at Red Stitch Actors Theatre in 2015 and has recently been cast in the feature film Love, Tea & Epiphany set to begin filming in 2023.


Taking on the lead role of Aaron is DAMON HUNTER.

Damon began doing TV commercials at the age of 12 and since then has had credits on numerous shows including Neighbours (which he returned to three times, playing different characters), Funky Squad, Underbelly, Lawless - The Real Bushrangers, Wentworth, Blue Heelers, Part Time Privates, My Life is Murder and City Homicide. His film credits include Torn, Playing for Charlie, Vanished and The Party Bus.



Taking on the pivotal role of Stephanie is NICOLE PASTOR.

Nicole Pastor is a Film and Television Actress born in Sydney, Australia.


Her recent film work includes the lead role in horror film 'Box' Directed by Alex Proyas (The Crow, I Robot, Gods of Egypt) which is currently streaming on his new platform ‘Vidiverse’, and supporting roles in feature film 'Ruby's Choice' alongside the legendary Jane Seymour and Jacqueline McKenzie, 'Christmess' opposite Steve Le Marquand, Directed by Heath Davis (Book Week, Broke) and 'The Cost' Directed by Matthew Holmes (Fear Below), which will have its premiere at Monster Fest this November.


In 2022, Nicole founded her own production company, Moonflower Pictures, to create and develop films in line with her vision to collaborate with inspiring filmmakers. She is co-writing, producing and staring in an upcoming thriller alongside screenwriter/co-producer Gregory Moss (Fear Below, The Cost), currently in treatment. Nicole will also lead Director John Balazs (Rage) upcoming psychological thriller 'Freelance' and Director Luke Creely’s upcoming horror which she will also produce.



Taking on the role of Troy is KEVIN DEE. Kevin’s enthralling and hard-hitting performance is an absolute must see.

Kevin has worked in film, television and theatre for many years. Making his film debut in the hit comedy ‘Strange Bedfellows’, he has since had lead roles in features such as ‘Submerge’, ‘Wolf’ and ‘Out Of Order’ all of which are available on streaming. He has been in many successful short films including ‘Emma & The Barista’, ‘Swallow’, ‘Hangry’ and also 'The Disappearance of Willie Bingham’ which saw him win two best actor awards in the USA. Kevin has also starred in many theatre productions both with Australia and also selling out shows in Canada and Edinburgh. His work in television includes roles on ‘New Gold Mountain’, ‘More Than This’, ‘Jack Irish’, ‘Lowdown’, ‘Winners & Losers’, ‘Neighbours’ and ‘Underbelly – Squizzy’.



In the role of Brian is CLAYTON WATSON.

Clayton's memorable performance provides a much needed light in this very dark tale. You may leave the cinema with a few new favourite 'Brian quotes'! Clayton's brilliant and powerful portrayal elevates the film - and will stay with you.

With his breakthrough performance as "The Kid" alongside Keanu Reeves in Lana Wachowski's sci-fi epics Matrix Reloaded & Matrix Revolutions, Australian actor Clayton Watson has been brought to the attention of mainstream audiences worldwide.


Awarded an AFI and numerous others by his peers, Clayton's role as iconic Australian cricket Captain Ian Chappell in Howzat! Kerry Packer's War proved his exceptional ability as a character actor with roles alongside Guy Pearce and Hermoine Corfield following.


He studied at the Australian Film & TV Academy for 3 years where he was poached by a talent agent which led to his first roles in TV & stage including his first lead role in High Flyers. He landed the coveted roles of Mickey Steele in Always Greener and The Kid in Matrix Reloaded & Matrix Revolutions in the same year and shot the two feature films and a television show simultaneously.


He is set to produce and debut solo direct Starting Blocks about Australia's most historical and famous footrace in 2023. Clayton continues to choose and produce projects that are close to his heart and has just completed feature film Michael Wardeath - a story about PTSD in war veterans and suicide - as writer, lead, producer and co-director in New York.



THE COST will have its World Premiere at Cinema Nova in Carlton on Saturday November 26 as part of the MonsterFest film festival.


From here it will travel up north for a Sydney premiere at the Event Cinemas on George Street on December 10 as part of the MonsterFest film festival.


Then the very next day, it will go west for an Adelaide premiere at the Event Cinemas in Marion on December 11.
